In Open Paths, Tatia Bogveli creates a gestural abstraction in which the movement of the paint becomes the true protagonist. Against a deep background of bluish-greens and blacks, a network of white strokes, linear paths, and splatters unfolds, enlivened by small accents of yellow, orange, and red.

The composition avoids a dominant center and instead offers multiple directions and visual paths. The light strokes traverse and connect different areas of the surface, while the smudges and overlays in the background add depth and density. The title reinforces this interpretation: the work can be understood as a network of possible, open, and simultaneous trajectories, expressed through the painterly gesture itself.

Tatia Bogveli is a Georgian artist whose work moves between landscape, figuration, and abstraction.
