A city emerges from the depths of the blue. Fragments of light, architecture, and color appear amid layers of matter, like memories of a place that may never have existed. Red pulses at the center of the composition while blue envelops it, creating a space between reality, memory, and dream. A city that belongs to no map, submerged amid matter, light, and memory.

Miroslav Spadrna is a Czech painter whose work moves between abstraction and figuration, creating an intense and deeply sensory visual experience. Self-taught in his early years, he had already gained international recognition before studying fine arts: by the age of 25, his work was being sold in Germany, the Netherlands, and other European countries. He was awarded the European Artist Prize in 2023 in Milan and was appointed Coordinator of Art and Painting in the Czech Republic in 2021. He has participated in group exhibitions in Spain, including one in Berja (Andalusia, 2023), and completed an artist residency in Garachico, Canary Islands, in 1997. His work has received positive reviews and has been featured in various media outlets. Since April 2024, he has been a member of the Chicote Visual Arts Gallery (Spain).
