Pair of silver clasps, made in silver during the 20th century. The pieces, which present a meticulous craftsmanship, are conceived with a design that stylistically refers to the ornamental repertoire of the late Baroque, especially visible in the exuberance of its molded edges, mixtilinear profile and volumetric ornamentation.
The rim of each salvilla is modeled with a rhythmic sequence of curves and counter-curves, topped by scrolls and stylized vegetal motifs in high relief, evoking the architectural or decorative frames of the 17th and 18th centuries. This visually dynamic perimeter frames a circular interior whose surface has been finely engraved with a central floral motif.
