This Bulgari ashtray, made in Italy circa 1975, is crafted in 925 silver and features a circular design with lobed profiles that refer to the firm's refined taste for reinterpreted classic forms. In the center is a copper coin, slightly raised, which acts as a focal motif and provides a marked material and chromatic contrast. The effigy and the inscription in relief give the whole an archaeological character, typical of Bulgari's Greco-Roman-inspired creations.
