Writing desk made entirely in silver, consisting of a tray of mixtilinear contour elevated on cut feet and a set of containers arranged symmetrically. The set includes several inkwells and a larger central body, all of them raised on turned feet and topped by domed lids crowned with small sculptural finials.

The predominant forms are curved and volumetric, typical of baroque taste, with undulating profiles and polished surfaces that reflect the light and add dynamism to the whole. The tray has a lobed and slightly raised rim, reinforcing the formal unity of the piece and its decorative character.

The decoration is sober but elegant, based on the play of volumes, soft moldings and carefully worked finials, without resorting to excessive ornamentation. This type of bunting responds to both a functional and representative conception, typical of 18th century silverware, where the object of everyday use becomes an element of prestige and distinction. The set is a good example of the high technical and aesthetic level reached by the goldsmiths of the Baroque period.
