DESCRIPTION
Set of three trays; Spain, XX century.

Measurements: 2 x 41 x 17 cm (largest).
Weight: 500 g (total).
Set of silver pieces of careful workmanship, combining functionality and classic elegance. The trays of sober lines with finely decorated edges stand out, together with a small bowl of organic forms and elevated support, which provides sculptural character. The polished finish and ornamental details reflect refined craftsmanship.
In the early years of the 20th century, Spanish silverware was marked by the continuity of historicist styles, linked to tradition and an elitist clientele. With the advance of industrialization and the opening to European influences, there was a gradual renewal that, especially in the interwar period, incorporated features of modernism and art deco, visible in the simplification of forms, the use of curved or geometric lines and greater attention to the design of everyday objects.
