In the 50s, Montblanc delegated to the Spanish factory of Enrique Wiese the production of models adapted to the local market, resulting in unique and unusual pieces, such as the Montblanc 440 "Made in Spain by E. Wiese". This pen combines the classic Montblanc design with the craftsmanship and materials accessible at the time.
The black celluloid barrel features a smooth, elegant surface, while the cap retains the flat white star, accompanied by a gold-plated clip and rings that reinforce its distinguished character. The 14-karat gold nib ensures smooth and precise writing.
This model reflects a unique period in the history of Montblanc, when production outside Hamburg made it possible to meet the needs of the Spanish market without losing the essence of the German brand.
