The most defining characteristic of the 5513 is its absence of a date window and, therefore, of the Cyclops lens that enlarges it. This results in a perfectly symmetrical and clean dial, which many purists consider the purest and most functional expression of a diver's watch, where only the time and the time spent underwater were important.
The Rolex Submariner is undoubtedly the most iconic and recognizable diver's watch of all time. Originally designed for underwater exploration, it has transcended its technical purpose to become an icon of modern watchmaking. In the firm's own words, "Originally, the Submariner was created specifically for underwater exploration and diving. Over the years, it has proven to be just as effective out of the water and has become the iconic and versatile watch of explorers, athletes, filmmakers, artists and others with different walks of life." A timeless design that combines precision, endurance and elegance, and continues to be a symbol of adventure and distinction in any environment.
In the description of the watches when it is marked "in running condition" it means that the watch is in working order. Since collector's watches often have delicate and complex mechanisms, the buyer is responsible for any general service, overhaul, battery change, adjustment or repair that may be necessary. We do not guarantee the perfect functioning of any watch. All photographs of our watches are original and have been taken by our photographers, that is to say, we do not work with stock photography and that is why the photographs are considered part of the cataloging.
