BID HISTORY

DESCRIPTION

GRAHAM Swordfish Chronograph Watch, No. 27XX.
Made of steel. Black circular dial. Hour markers in Arabic numerals. Sword-style hands with a central chronograph hand featuring a red tip. Dual sub-dials with magnifying lenses: one for the seconds hand at 3 o’clock and one for the 30-minute chronograph counter at 9 o’clock. Sapphire crystal. Smooth crown at the 9 o’clock position flanked by two pushers for chronograph control. Yellow rubber strap with buckle clasp; both original Graham parts. Automatic movement. It works.
Measurements: 46 mm (case diameter).

Introduced in 2001, the Swordfish quickly became one of Graham’s most iconic models thanks to its avant-garde and easily recognizable design. Its most distinctive feature is the two magnifying lenses integrated into the crystal above the subdials, inspired by the large eyes of the swordfish, from which it takes its name. Likewise, the back of this striking yellow version features a central medallion with the royal crown and the naval anchor, a nod to George Graham’s legacy as the official watchmaker to the British Navy in the 18th century.

In the watch descriptions, when it states “it works,” it means the watch is functioning. Since collector’s watches typically have delicate and complex mechanisms, the buyer is responsible for any general servicing, inspection, battery replacement, adjustment, or repair that may be necessary. We do not guarantee the perfect functioning of any watch. All photographs of our watches are original and have been taken by our photographers; in other words, we do not use stock photography, which is why the photographs are considered part of the catalog listing.
