Pedro Rodriguez achieved great recognition for his designs. In 1919 he began his career in haute couture, founding his own workshop. But it was a decade later, thanks to his participation in the International Exhibition of Barcelona, when he consolidated his career becoming one of the most sought after Spanish designers. He was the founder of the Cooperativa de la Alta Costura, whose main function was to promote the visibility of Spanish fashion internationally.
