Painter and sculptor initiated in the expressionism, from the end of the sixties his style crosses an abstract stage that will end in a figuration concentrated in the problematic of the man and the environment that conditions him. His language is direct, supported by a vivid color. Since his solo debut in 1965, Miró has exhibited his work both in Spain and in many other countries, and has been awarded prizes such as the Joan Miró Drawing Prize, the Diploma of Honor at the London Winter International Salon and the Premio Nazionale Centro de Arte Elba in Palermo, among others. He is currently represented at the MACBA in Barcelona, the Museo de Bellas Artes in Bilbao, the Oldham in Lancashire (UK), the Sigmund Freud in Vienna, the Calcografía Nacional in Madrid and the Cívico Museo di Milano, among many other museums and collections, both private and public, around the world.
