In good overall condition. May show signs of wear consistent with use and age. One of the pieces has a fine hairline or possible microcrack, which is difficult to perceive due to the nature of the glass itself; it cannot be determined with certainty whether this is an irregularity in the artistic glass or a minor subsequent alteration.

The “Stella” model by Albano Poli for Poliarte is one of the most interesting pieces in the Italian firm’s collection and fully aligns with the designer’s exploration of glass as a sculptural element. The piece is constructed through a geometric composition of cubic modules of solid Murano glass, carefully assembled to form a star-shaped structure that transforms light into a sculptural and architectural element.
An Italian artist and designer specializing in glass, Albano Poli trained at the Verona School of Art, where he was influenced by the master Giorgio de Casarini. His interest in the expressive possibilities of glass led him to work alongside prominent master artisans, until he founded the firm Arte Vetraria Veronese in 1957, together with Aldo Cavallini. In 1968, he founded Poliarte, one of the most innovative firms in Italian lighting design during the second half of the 20th century. His lamps, conceived as true luminous sculptures, combined artistic glass, geometry, and contemporary design, straddling the line between art and functional objects.
