DESCRIPTION

Viñas del Vero, Blecua, 2001.
Somontano DO. Aragón, Spain.
6 bottles of 75 cl.
Comes with the original wooden box, opened for inspection, and wrapping paper bearing the Blecua brand.
Condition: The liquid levels cannot be accurately determined due to the size of the capsules and the dark glass. Front labels are complete and legible, with slight scuffs and small stains, some of which are reddish in color. Back labels from the Regulatory Council are intact and feature legible serial numbers. Gold capsules with slight scuffs, creases, and minor deformations along the upper edges; the embossed emblems are intact. Corks are concealed, making it impossible to assess their condition or position. No obvious external signs of leakage on the visible surfaces. The photographs do not allow for a precise determination of the wine’s color, clarity, or sediment. Box with slight surface marks; wrappers are wrinkled and have small stains.
It comes from a private collection, stored under optimal temperature and humidity conditions.

Blecua 2001 is a high-end red wine from Viñas del Vero, in the Somontano DO, made from Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Garnacha, and Tempranillo. Its production begins with a selection of vineyards, grape clusters, and barrels, followed by twenty months of aging in French oak. The review published upon its release highlighted its aromatic intensity, with fruit notes accompanied by toasty, balsamic, and chocolate aromas, and a full-bodied, structured, and persistent palate with ripe tannins.
