Comes with a wooden box from the winery marked “Único 1998.” Opened for inspection.
Condition:
Levels: visible at the neck on all six bottles: 6 IN (Into Neck), with slight variations in height. Front labels are complete and legible, with stains, brown mottling, and scuffing of varying intensity. Commercial and Regulatory Council back labels are legible, with stains and superficial wear. Burgundy-colored capsules show scuffing, minor superficial loss of finish, and deposits, most visible around some upper edges. No noticeable external wine runoff. The corks remain hidden, and their condition and position cannot be assessed. Bubbles are visible in the neck of some bottles at the time the photograph was taken. The dark glass prevents a reliable assessment of color, clarity, and sediment. The box shows stains, discoloration, scratches, and wear, as well as a damaged shipping label.
It comes from a private collection cellar, maintained under optimal temperature and humidity conditions.

Único embodies Vega Sicilia’s tradition of extended aging, linked to the Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards on its estate. Its prolonged aging in oak and in the bottle is an essential part of its identity. This lot comprises six bottles from the 1998 vintage, individually numbered and accompanied by a wooden box marked with the same vintage.
