This figure belongs to the art toy universe, a movement that combines the design of collectible toys with expressions of contemporary urban art. Based on Toy2R’s Bunee Qee model, it features a highly expressive painted design dominated by intense hallmarks of red, black, and white, with small bluish accents. The surface is covered by a network of grotesque faces, organic forms, and spontaneous strokes that transform the character’s childlike appearance into a creation with an aesthetic reminiscent of graffiti and underground illustration. The accumulation of motifs and the gestural nature of the drawing lend the piece a unique vitality.

Founded in Hong Kong by Raymond Choy in 1995, Toy2R was one of the pioneering firms of the designer toy movement. Its Qee line achieved international recognition thanks to its vinyl figures, conceived as three-dimensional canvases for the creative interventions of artists, illustrators, and designers.
