Measurements: 30 x 45 cm; 49 x 63 cm (frame).
Xavier Blanch trained in Barcelona at the Sant Jordi School of Fine Arts and held his first solo exhibition in 1942. During the 1960s, he lived in Paris, Rome, and Florence, where he furthered his studies. He spent ten years in Italy, holding exhibitions and engaging with various artistic movements, though his work remained closely aligned with the so-called “tonalism” of the Roman school.
