Porcelain sculptural set of the prestigious firm Lladró, designed by Salvador Furió Carbonell, one of the most important sculptors of the house, known for his mastery of anatomy, expression and narrative composition. The work represents the biblical episode of Jesus at the Sea of Tiberias, a scene of great symbolic charge linked to faith, spiritual guidance and hope.

The composition is articulated around the central figure of Christ, standing in the boat, surrounded by the apostles, arranged in a balanced and dynamic way. The modeling stands out for the naturalness of the postures, the restrained expressiveness of the faces and the detailed treatment of the garments, with soft and fluid folds that bring movement to the scene.

The enameling, characteristic of Lladró, combines a sober and harmonious chromatic palette, dominated by whites, blues, earths and ochers, reinforcing the serene atmosphere of the Gospel passage. Special attention deserves the treatment of the water, the boat and the secondary elements, which enrich the scene without detracting from the prominence of the human group.

Salvador Furió dedicated most of his life to the realization of religious images and imagery, proof of this are numerous sculptures that are found in different churches, mainly in the Valencian Community. These sculptures have been exhibited in different museums and taken out in procession on important dates.
