Piece of furniture of extremely singular design, a clear exponent of postmodern design, which values sculpture, the contrast of materials and the redefinition of traditional forms.
This dressing table with console stands out for its bold play of visual and material hallmarks. The central block is a pure rectangle, finished in a black lacquer. Its design is minimalist. In contrast, the legs and mirror supports are sculptural and organic elements. Made of polished metal, they have a biomorphic design. They spring from the structure with a wide, flowing base and taper dramatically to end in needle points, giving the impression that the heavy black block barely touches the ground.
The black body boasts two large niches that reveal a light wood-lined interior, creating a third point of material contrast. The piece includes drawers on both sides.
The rectangular mirror is supported by two metal arms that echo the design language of the legs, making it appear to float elegantly above the console.
