DESCRIPTION
A pair of table lamps from the 1980s.
Papyrus lampshades.
Measurements: 29 x 13.5 x 13.5 cm and 32 x 13.5 x 13.5 cm.
A set of two table lamps by an unknown designer, characterized by a striking geometric design. This set stands out for its unusual triangular prism shape, featuring two lamps of different heights that complement each other and allow for dynamic visual compositions in any space. The structure of both pieces is almost entirely covered by elegant papyrus shades featuring a subtle grid pattern. This material, with its organic and fascinating texture, acts as an exceptional diffuser that, when lit, gently filters the light to bathe the room in a warm and serene amber glow.
Adding a touch of contrast and enhancing the design, the triangular base of each lamp rests on three delicate spherical legs made of reddish wood. This ingenious detail not only visually lightens the lamp’s weight but also subtly breaks up the straightness of the geometric lines, adding an organic and refined touch. With its minimalist, pure, and timeless style, this pair is ideal for modern interiors, wabi-sabi settings, or spaces designed to convey calm and warmth.
