This piece can be considered an example of early 20th century French silverware. The crescent shape, with a crescent and balanced profile, combines the delicacy of the design with a solid and refined structure. The staggered arrangement of the diamonds creates a harmonious transition of sizes, enhancing the volume and luminosity of the whole. The reverse side reveals meticulous openwork and the original clasp system, needle-type with safety pin.
These crescent-shaped pieces were highly valued during the Belle Époque and Art Deco periods, not only as jewelry of great elegance but also as amulets loaded with symbolism. Today, they are icons of collecting and style, coveted for their timeless sophistication and impeccable craftsmanship.
