Cast and patinated metal, gilded metal, and opal glass.

It has a patina consistent with its age.
Measurements: 90 x 55 x 55 cm.

This Art Nouveau chandelier is centered around a hemispherical central shade, composed of irregular pieces of opal glass set within a gilded metal lattice. Four curvilinear arms radiate from it, topped by metal shades shaped like flower corollas and decorated with flowers and leaves in relief. The elongated suspension elements rise until they converge in a plant-like crown formed by stems, leaves, and a central bud.

The organic conception of the structure, the fluid lines, and the transformation of the arms and supports into plant forms place the piece within the Central European Jugendstil tradition. In contrast to the more exuberant naturalism of French Art Nouveau, the design combines stylized floral ornamentation with an open and balanced construction. The green and brown patina of the metal enhances the modeling of the leaves and corollas, while the opaline glass and gilded details concentrate the light on the central body. The arrangement integrates a central light source and four peripheral ones into a unified composition, conceived as a true suspended plant-like architecture.
