49 c.c. Moto Guzzi Hispania moped, a model popularly known as the “Rancherita,” manufactured in the late 1970s. The bike features a lightweight, sporty design, with a streamlined fuel tank, a black bench seat, white fenders, and metallic gray accents, in keeping with the style of the country-inspired youth mopeds of that era.
The two-stroke engine, spoked wheels, exposed suspension, and raised exhaust reinforce its dynamic character, reminiscent of the scrambler style and entry-level models designed for agile, recreational use. The color combination of white, black, and metallic gray gives it a highly recognizable look within the context of late-1970s Spanish industrial design.
Moto Guzzi Hispania was the Spanish subsidiary of the Italian firm Moto Guzzi, with production tailored to the domestic market. Its small-displacement mopeds enjoyed a prominent presence in Spain as lightweight, economical, and entry-level vehicles. This model, which lacks a license plate and is displayed on a metal stand, is particularly well-suited as a collector’s item or decorative piece associated with classic motorcycling.
