Set of three office pieces; HERMÈS, Paris, c. 1980.

Slight scratches to the varnish and slight wear to the boxes.
The original boxes are preserved.
Measurements: 9,5 x 7 x 7 cm; 10 x 22,5 x 11,5 cm.
Set consisting of three pieces of writing desk made of walnut and amboyna root wood, worked with a care characteristic of the luxury Parisian leatherwork and cabinetmaking of the late twentieth century. The surfaces, with their deep luster and densely figured grain, reveal a meticulous finish that enhances the natural richness of the hardwoods.
On the left is a cube-shaped box with a lid and small metal handle; in the center, a three-tier mail sorter integrated into a solid base; and on the right, a prismatic pencil holder. The design is sober and balanced, with a refined formal language that combines functionality and refinement, traits associated with Hermès productions around the 1980s.
