DESCRIPTION
Collection of twelve antique canes.
In different materials: Murano glass, silver, bone, carved wood, bamboo cane.
With wooden wall cane holder.
Exhibits sligthly wear consistent with age and use and signs of antiquity.
Measurements: 120 cm high the biggest one, corresponding to the Murano glass cane.
Set of twelve antique canes of different types, accompanied by a wooden wall cane holder. The collection stands out for the variety of materials and finishes, combining examples of wood, bamboo, silver, bone, metal and Murano glass, which provides a remarkable decorative and collector interest.
Among the pieces, the Murano cane with blue helicoidal decoration stands out, taller than the rest, along with other models with curved handles, spherical knobs, metal finials and carved or decorated shafts. This diversity allows us to appreciate the formal evolution of the cane as a functional object, an accessory of personal distinction and an ornamental piece.
Due to its variety, material richness and presentation in a cane holder, this is a very attractive lot for collectors of antique canes, as well as for classic or eclectic settings.
