The “Men in the Cities” series, begun in the late 1970s, is one of Robert Longo’s most iconic works. In it, figures dressed in suits are captured in tense, dynamic poses, suspended between movement and fall, evoking both the energy and the alienation of contemporary urban life.

Robert Longo is an American artist whose work explores contemporary visual culture through various media, including drawing, photography, and sculpture.

Longo has exhibited at major international museums and institutions, including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, the Musée d’Art Moderne et Contemporain in Nice, and the Museu Coleção Berardo in Lisbon.
