DESCRIPTION
DIEGO CAMUÑAS GARCÍA (Málaga, 1925 – Mataró, Barcelona, 2004).

Measurements: 50 x 61 cm; 67 x 78 cm (frame).
A painter, draftsman, and illustrator, Diego Camuñas trained at the School of Arts and Crafts in Málaga and later, after settling in Barcelona, at the Sant Jordi School of Fine Arts. He later received a scholarship from the Barcelona City Council to further his studies in Paris, where he held a solo exhibition in 1959. This was followed by other study trips to Italy, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Camuñas has exhibited his work in prominent galleries, foundations, and art centers in various Spanish cities, as well as in the United States.
