This watch stands out for its double signature, a testimony of the historic alliance between Rolex and the prestigious British house Mappin & Webb. Founded in 1775 and recognized as an official supplier to the British Royal Household, Mappin & Webb has been one of the most emblematic luxury retailers in the United Kingdom. During the mid-twentieth century, Rolex allowed them to stamp their name on the dial, integrating it into the original design of the piece. This collaboration fuses Swiss technical precision with the heritage of the London luxury trade.
In the description of the watches when it is marked "in running condition" it means that the watch is in working order. As collector's watches often have delicate and complex mechanisms, the buyer is responsible for any general service, overhaul, battery change, adjustment or repair that may be necessary. We do not guarantee the perfect functioning of any watch. All photographs of our watches are original and have been taken by our photographers, that is to say, we do not work with stock photography and that is why the photographs are considered part of the cataloging.
