The Hublot Classic Grand Quantieme (Ref. 1840.8) is an extremely exclusive collector’s piece from the late 1990s and early 2000s. It belongs to Hublot’s neoclassical era, prior to the launch of the Big Bang, when Carlo Crocco led the company and focused on slender silhouettes with high-end complications; Crocco himself had founded the brand in 1980, achieving a historic milestone in the industry by being the first to dare to combine a luxurious gold case with a natural rubber strap.

When the description of a watch states “it works,” it means the watch is functioning. Since collector’s watches typically have delicate and complex mechanisms, the buyer is responsible for any general servicing, inspection, battery replacement, adjustment, or repair that may be necessary. We do not guarantee the perfect functioning of any watch. All photographs of our watches are original and have been taken by our photographers; in other words, we do not use stock photography, which is why the photographs are considered part of the listing.
