The painter Jaume Villanueva Malaret graduated in scenography at the Institut del Teatre de Barcelona in 1960 and also studied at the Escola de Belles Arts de Barcelona. This multidisciplinary training influenced his artistic approach. Throughout his career, he has exhibited in several galleries. His work is part of important collections such as the International Olympic Committee and the International Olympic Museum in Lausanne, as well as the Fundació Banc de Sabadell, the Fundació "La Caixa" and the Fundació "Vila-Casas".
