This wall clock, belonging to the traditional Frisian or Friese Staartklok type, is a characteristic example of northern Dutch domestic clockmaking. Made of oak wood, it has a vertical structure topped by an upper body that houses the front plate with the polychrome dial, richly decorated with cornucopias and a bucolic scene, following the Dutch popular taste.

Behind the dial is hidden the brass machinery, which regulates the movement of the pendulum and the system of weights.
