Catalan school of the last quarter of the 19th century.

Oil on canvas.
It has some lack of polychrome. It needs to be cleaned.
Measurements: 75 x 104 cm; 95 x 124 cm (frame).

The painting in tender has been reproduced on numerous occasions by different European artists of the late nineteenth century. Ours, however, may have been done by a Catalan painter judging by the Teixidor stamp on the back of the canvas. It was also the image used for the promotion of the Atlantic crossing with the Nederlandsch-Amerikaansche Stoomvaart Maatschappij (later: Holland-America Line).
