DESCRIPTION

Censer JUSTO ULIVARRI (maker) and APOLINAR CAMPO (marker). Vitoria, 1852.
Silver.
With hallmarks.
Measurements: 28 x 14 cm.
Weight: 924 gr.

Silver censer with marks of Vitoria and the Ulivarri marker. It is a piece of historicist design, inspired by the classicist baroque of the XVIII century. It is decorated with embossed, chiseled and engraved motifs, and presents the typical fretwork of this typology. It consists of a low stepped foot, a galloned ovoid belly and a high top organized in horizontal layers, alternating moldings, stylized and vertical "S" braces, synthesized draperies and a crown of leaves as a finial.
