Color lithograph by César Manrique, which fully responds to the symbolic, playful and geometric language developed by the artist in his graphic production of the eighties. The work presents a zoomorphic central figure, close to the representation of a fish or sea creature, constructed by means of a strictly symmetrical composition and articulated from flat geometric shapes: circles, triangles, ovals and rhythmic stripes. This iconography refers directly to the natural universe of Lanzarote, especially the marine world, reinterpreted from a modern, almost totemic aesthetic.

César Manrique is internationally recognized as a pioneer of artistic environmentalism and as the architect of a unique model of coexistence between art, territory and life, whose impact continues to define the identity of Lanzarote and is projected as a universal example.
