Signed in the lower right corner. Signed, dated and titled on the back.
Measurements: 46 x 39 cm, 61 x 53 cm (frame).

Female portrait in medium plane, with period costumes, set in a flowery garden that provides a soft spatial reference to the composition. The scene suggests an evening stroll, possibly on a holiday, considering the elegance of the attire. The accessories - hat, bow and elaborate hairstyle - contribute to reinforce the refined character of the figure.

José Puyet Padill, grandson of the painter José Padilla, started painting at a very young age with his grandfather. After his first individual exhibition in Madrid, he developed an intense exhibition career with exhibitions in Spain, Europe and the United States. In 1984 he was included in the publication "Who's Who in Art" and in 1988 he was appointed member of the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Telmo in Malaga.
