This Masriera ring exemplifies the continuity of the floral repertoire that made the firm famous within the Catalan modernist jewelry. As a later production of the Masriera/Bagués-Masriera house, the piece recovers the ornamental delicacy of its historical models, combining the work of yellow gold, fire enamel and the brilliance of diamonds in a composition of a markedly naturalistic character.

Founded in Barcelona in 1839, Masriera achieved a central position in modernist jewelry thanks to Lluís Masriera, who from 1901 profoundly renewed the language of the firm by integrating French techniques of fire enamel with motifs of symbolist and naturalist inspiration. Female figures, insects, flowers and plant forms became part of an unmistakable repertoire, marked by technical delicacy, chromatic richness and the conception of jewelry as an artistic object.
In 1985, the union with Bagués made it possible to preserve the house's molds, archives and artisanal procedures, giving continuity to a production linked to Masriera's historical models. It is in this context that this ring is inscribed, a jewel that combines fidelity to the modernist legacy, demanding technical execution and full identification with the aesthetics of the firm. Its signature, numbering and Bagués certificate of authenticity reinforce its interest for collectors of artistic jewelry and signature pieces.
