An elegant Zenith wristwatch, produced between 1959 and 1961, representative of the Swiss manufacturer’s golden age. Its refined design, defined by the harmony of the dial, the Dauphine hands, and the small seconds sub-dial, reflects the sophisticated aesthetic that characterized the brand’s dress watches during the middle decades of the 20th century.
Founded in Le Locle in 1865, Zenith established itself as one of the great Swiss watch manufacturers thanks to the quality of its calibers and production carried out entirely in its own workshops. This piece embodies the most sought-after qualities in a classic Zenith watch: balanced proportions, excellent craftsmanship, and the timeless elegance that has made vintage Zenith watches increasingly sought after by collectors.
When the description of a watch states “it works,” it means the watch is functioning. Since collector’s watches typically have delicate and complex mechanisms, the buyer is responsible for any general servicing, inspection, battery replacement, adjustment, or repair that may be necessary. We do not guarantee the perfect functioning of any watch. All photographs of our watches are original and have been taken by our photographers; in other words, we do not use stock photography, which is why the photographs are considered part of the listing.
