The Hermès “Pythagore” is a silk scarf designed by Belgian artist Zoé Pauwels and first introduced in 1999. It is inspired by the Greek philosopher and mathematician Pythagoras. True to Zoé Pauwels’ creative vision, the design combines science, nature, and imagination in a delicate and poetic composition. Floral motifs, leaves, and botanical elements intertwine with geometric shapes and symmetrical structures that evoke Pythagorean theories about the order of the universe.
