The Macallan Sherry Oak 12 years is part of the Sherry Oak collection, which presents a series of pure malt whiskies matured in exceptional sherry oak casks seasoned with sherry to add richness and complexity. With a mature character, the 12 Year Old offers rich wood and dried fruit spices and a rich natural golden color.

Macallan is a malt Scotch whisky distillery located near Eastes Elchies House in the Speyside region. It originally aged its whiskies only in casks from the Spanish town of Jerez, although from 2004 it introduced a new series, the Fine Oak, with the whisky matured in oak casks that had contained bourbon in addition to those from Jerez.
