This composition refers to the early wrapping works created by Christo in Paris between 1958 and 1960, which were fundamental to the development of his subsequent artistic career. During those years, the artist began wrapping everyday objects using fabrics, ropes, varnishes, and other materials that transformed their original appearance. These experiments, grouped under the title *Inventory*, foreshadowed the monumental installations he would later create alongside Jeanne-Claude. The piece combines a reproduction of a preparatory drawing with a photograph of the wrapped objects, signed by Christo, establishing a dialogue between the graphic conception and its three-dimensional realization.
Christo and Jeanne-Claude formed one of the most influential creative duos in contemporary art, internationally recognized for their ephemeral interventions in landscapes, buildings, and public spaces. Among their most iconic projects are *The Pont Neuf Wrapped* (Paris, 1985), *Wrapped Reichstag* (Berlin, 1995), and *The Gates* (New York, 2005). Their creations challenged the traditional boundaries of sculpture and temporarily transformed the perception of the environment. Their career has been the subject of major international exhibitions, and their work is represented in institutions such as the Centre Pompidou in Paris, the National Gallery of Art in Washington, and the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
