A 1950s Persian rug made of hand-knotted wool and silk, featuring a central field that was originally red, decorated with plant motifs, and blue and beige side borders with geometric and floral designs. In the center of the rug, it is evident that a piece of furniture has been placed on it for a long time, leaving some marks, and the rug’s original colors are visible.
Persian rugs feature beautiful designs and are prized collector’s items around the world. This is hardly surprising, given their exceptional quality. Hand-knotting, natural colors, and fine wool yarns are characteristic of these valuable rugs, which have been crafted in Persia for centuries. They are rich in traditional motifs and beautiful colors.
