Chinese vase of the Qing dynasty, in porcelain made in the kilns of Jingdezhen, hand-painted with cobalt blue enamel applied over the glaze, on white. Its cylindrical belly, attached to a short neck with a flaring mouth, rests on a circular base. The entire outer body is decorated with interlacing vegetal elements and borders, developing in a restrained and harmonious rhythm. It comes from the city of Jingdezhen in Jiangxi Province, which has been famous for its pottery since ancient times.
