BID HISTORY
DESCRIPTION
Pair of 3-light candlesticks adaptable to candlestick. France, Empire period, ca.1805.
Mercury gilded bronze.
Measurements: 51 x 20 x 20 x 20 cm.
Pair of candelabra in two pieces: candlestick and triple arm. Made entirely in gilded bronze to the mercury, it emphasizes the care finished of the chiseled ones: from the interlaced grecas of the base, happening through the fine grooves of the shaft, up to the vegetable sheaths of the arms and the lampshades. They are an outstanding example of the Early French Empire style.
