The Cambon Ligne Wallet on Chain belongs to one of Chanel’s most iconic collections from the early 21st century. Launched in 2004 under the creative direction of Karl Lagerfeld, the Cambon line represented a bold reinterpretation of the house’s classic codes. Inspired by Rue Cambon in Paris—Chanel’s historic headquarters since 1918—this collection takes its name from the famous street where Gabrielle “Coco” Chanel established her fashion house and created some of the most influential pieces in the history of design. The line is distinguished by the large, contrasting double-CC logo, which has become the central element of the design and a symbol of a new generation of Chanel accessories.
