Set of three Murano blown glass vases with murrine decoration. The pieces follow the style of Fratelli Toso who was one of the main glassmakers behind the revival of glass art on the island of Murano as an active part of an important process of renewal. In the first decades of activity the production was based mainly on the imitation of the glass art of the past, but from the early twentieth century the production of blown glass and classic glass was accompanied by the rediscovery of the murrina destined to become the authentic trademark of the Fratelli Toso factory.
