Simo Busom is one of the artists who have offered their works to Fundación Funamment (Salut Mental), to contribute to improve the quality of life of people with mental health problems. In addition to acquiring a work of a reference artist, you make it easier for us to continue accompanying these people and improving their quality of life.

Despite having studied with Joan Lahosa at the Baixas Academy in Barcelona, Busom can be considered a mainly self-taught artist. He worked both in painting and engraving, and had his first solo exhibition in 1959, at the Sala Vayreda in Barcelona. He continues to show his work in the following decades, mainly between Madrid and Barcelona, in galleries such as Parés in the latter city. As part of group exhibitions his work has also been shown in Paris (Grand Palais in 1979 and Drouant gallery in 1989) and Santo Domingo (1980). His works are currently in the most important collections in Spain, including the Reina Sofia Museum, the Modern Art Museum of Pontevedra, the Museum of Huesca and the Museum of Valls.
