The Cepas Viejas wine is aged for nine months in 225-liter French (Allier & Nevers) and American (Missouri & Virginia) oak barrels. Made by the Dominio de Tares wineries, founded in 2000 with the interest of enhancing the Denomination of Origin of Bierzo. The winery is located in a privileged area surrounded by vineyards of exceptional quality and the basis of its success comes from the recovery of the vineyards.**
