Devotional sculpture representing the Virgin in her invocation of the Immaculate Conception, a theme that joins the Assumption, alluding to the Glory of Mary. This same model, but with variations, was repeatedly applied in Spanish painting and devotional sculpture since the Baroque period. The Virgin is represented full-length, on a pedestal formed by a pedestal molded with clouds. Mary is presented to the viewer in a monumental way and with an active attitude that has been captured by the sculptor through the expression, with her hands in a prayerful attitude.
