Made entirely of walnut wood, this late Gothic chest is raised on a molded plinth. The front is divided into panels or coffers. The upper part has an overhanging hinged lid and the interior has a large space without compartmentalization. The chest retains a beautiful patina that highlights the natural grain of the wood. Walnut was chosen not only for its intrinsic beauty, but also for its durability and strength, which has allowed this piece to survive to this day.
