In this painting, Juan Escauriza handles a virtuous stroke. With his hyperreal language and by the type of framing he simulates a quasi-photographic work, although without trying to hide the underlying material work.
Escauriaza has a PhD in Geological Sciences and a postgraduate degree in Hydro-Geology and Palaeontology, but his passion has always been art. Since 1994 he has dedicated himself exclusively to art.
