Russian artist. In 1973 he emigrated to Israel and in 1980 he moved to Berlin, where he began studies that he continued in New York and again in Berlin. His work Multi Story Car Park is a series, made between 1998 and 2001, in which he documents the interiors of different underground car parks. The artist digitizes the images, cleaning any trace of dirt, marks, signs, etc., illuminating them, eliminating columns and pillars to expand spaces and sometimes adding architectural elements that he considers appropriate. A work full of mystery and with an elegant composition. Landscapes in the purest classic style but with absolutely contemporary techniques and motifs. He has exhibited, among other spaces, at Hubertus Wunschik Galerie, Mönchengladbach, and at Galerie Thomas Rehbein, Cologne. In Spain he is represented by the Javier López gallery, in Madrid.
